About me 

I’m Iryna, a Brisbane-based registered counsellor passionate about helping people better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

I have always been drawn to working with people and exploring what helps individuals live healthier, more fulfilling lives. This curiosity led me to pursue professional counselling training and develop a structured approach that combines psychological insight with practical tools for everyday life.

MY APPROACH

My approach integrates evidence-based counselling methods with clear, practical tools that clients can apply beyond the therapy room.

I work from a neuropsychologically-informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, combining:

  • Psychoeducation about the brain and stress response
  • Nervous system regulation strategies
  • Cognitive restructuring techniques
  • Emotional regulation skill-building
  • Structured reflection and goal-focused work

I believe that when you understand how your brain and nervous system operate, you gain the ability to respond differently rather than react automatically.
